gone fishing

fishing

i'm talking about my toon. not this site. :p

have i mentioned that i started this game by leveling up the husband's toons' fishing?

fishing in wotlk is more realistic than in tbc. in tbc the requirement was tough. you started out with 300 fishing skill yet it was impossible to fish in the first water area in zangamarsh. even with lure you get fish gone away... i hate that message!

my toons leveled up fishing in the old world.

in wotlk, fishing is easy. no problem with lure. i fell in love with fishing again. my lock has higher fishing and cooking skills than her primary professions.

so far most cooking recipes use fish... i can't wait to get more recipes!

queue

so i thought thought having 500+ in queue was ridiculous. wait till you see 1000+.

if you play on popular servers seeing 500+ regularly is the norm. but i've never thought it could happen to where i play.

but i shouldn't complain. some servers' queue is reaching 2000 88|

what woltk?

queue

2.5 hours after installing wotlk, i still haven't been able to play the game.

the computer keeps crashing. everytime it crashes, i have to queue to get into the server. and the queue went longer and longer with every attempt. first time around 300. next time 400. now it's 500+...

did i mention that i finally got my new computer? that was bought 2 years ago and has been tested by the husband all these time to ensure it's stable? he had no problem using it. but once it's in my hands, it decided to give me blue screens every now and then.

wotlk will be out in 5 days time. maybe 6 for me because US is a day behind. unless oceanic servers are updated according to our timezone.

the biggest highlight is probably death knight. my in-game friend has been looking forward to play this class since it was annouced as the new class. then almost everyone i know will be playing one. i went from i-don't-care to i-want-one-too!

the question is probably, will i have time to play?

and if i'm going to play one, which race should i choose? should i choose human because they look good in fashions? or should i choose gnome because they're so damn cute? maybe not so cute with dk's evil look...

when tbc came out, i tried to play shaman the nth attempt. she is still collecting dust at level 7.

holy or evil?

priest

pretty priest at westfall coast.

i haven't really touched my priest after the patch. the talents were reset and i had no idea what i want to do.

i'm a very casual priest player. i can't remember nor know the spells and talents.

the question was, should i heal or be another cloth dps caster? but being on a dead server with nothing much to do and where getting group is impossible, going shadow seems to be the only option.

i've been thinking if i should xfer the priest to my current server and make her my main in wotlk.

i've been raiding as a lock for past few years. it's getting boring.

in addition, my lock's performance has been disappointing. tonight, she went to kara to help guildies with seasonal boss. my worst fear has come true... she was outdps-ed by a lesser geared lock. how embarrassing!

i've also played 2 dps class. i'd like to try healing for a change. even tho she's going to be a noob healer.

or i should go for death knight? everyone i know are going to play this new class.
